If you spend too much time nit-picking and buying into what this one says or that one recommends, you're never going to figure what works out for you.<br /><br />I do, however, advise making friends with other writers who're on a similar level as you are. There's nothing wrong with a bit of peer review and mutual support.<br /><br />The publishing industry is changing so rapidly with all the different bits of modern technology and marketing methods creeping in, you really need to keep your ear to the ground.
